Ahh!
Book still not done. Ahhh! Seven pages. Not enough. Ahhh, again. Holiday shopping not finished, first party and gift exchange on Friday. Ahh! Wait, I said that before. But there’s something about this time of year that makes inarticulate screaming seem like a good idea.
More colors of the comic gone over. I’ve got an anthology to give a quote for. The editor is someone who I know, so I will do it, but I’m going to have start saying no to all of it, because it always seems to catch me at a insanely busy time. Tired, very tired. Frustrated. Current book scene is kicking my butt. I’m actually going to skip this part of the fight, and move on to the conclusion. Until I see the lay of the land I can’t know how to use the men and the weaponary. If I do it in detail I’m just going to have to rewrite it later. I need more ground research first. So skip to the end, then go on. That is my plan for tomorrow, I hope that gets me moving again in SKIN TRADE, because every day I creep along makes me more discouraged about tomorrow. I know, seven pages, most writers would be thrilled to get seven pages in a day. I don’t think most writers have my deadlines, and most that seem to, write much shorter books than I do. If I could have brought this book a hundred pages ago, I’d have been on time, but Edward and crew just eat the pages up. Not to mention I came up with this totally cool, totally creepy use for Anita’s necromancy powers, and I can’t pass up the chance to see if it works. If you can’t have fun in your imaginary world, what’s the point?
