If it were Easy

Dec 09, 2008

Only three pages on SKIN TRADE, today.  Afternoon was spent with yoga, Pilates, and getting my hair done.  The yoga and Pilates is to help me feel better physically and help the stress level.  I spent a long time putting off exercise to finish deadlines, until I realized there is always a deadline, and I can’t keep putting off the rest of my life forever.  The hair, is highlights, a trim, and things waxed and plucked.  Ouch.

Tomorrow’s Wednesday, and the book MUST be finished this week.  F**ck.  I would say I’m frantically working, but the more frantic I get, the fewer pages I get in a work session.  I’m meditating every day.  Okay, yoga, Pilates, and mediation, and I’m still this tense.  Geez.

Jon is under the weather again, and goes into his doctor this week for his foot this time.  Really tired of this theme.  It’s a test.  I just wish I could figure out how to finish the test and get the grade.

Okay, more positive.  I’m happy with the three pages I got.  Guns, dead bad guys, Anita, Edward, Bernardo, Olaf, and SWAT.  Tell me, that doesn’t sound just too fun.  Tomorrow finish this fight, and onto the next one.  We have our clue to follow up, just need to survive the night to follow it.  Always a tough book when Edward comes to visit.  Fun, interesting, but hard.  God, I’ve just described most of life.  What’s the old saying, "If it was easy, everyone would do it."

Just finish this fight.  Save some people.  Then go to the hospital for the wounded.  Then find the last big crime scene.  Then morgue scene.  Then either before big crime scene, or here, a big confrontation between Anita, the master vampire of Vegas, and his weretiger queen/wife.  Then the last big villain confrontation.  Then epilogue with Anita, Edward, and the other police.  Then done.  See, end game.  I can do this, damn it.  Almost there; almost there.
