Song in my head when I woke up: "Goth Girls", by MC Frontalot. 

Then morning funnies, and I laughed out loud.  Yes, Devil’s Panties has struck again.  I won’t even talk about it, because I think the visual works better without being spoiled. 

I woke up at 2 AM this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep.  I have no idea what woke me, but I was well and truly awake. Today I’m anxious and ansty.  I’m having trouble setting still, concentrating, which is bad in a writer.  Jon ran in his sleep all night.  I’d sooth him back to sleep, but the dreams just kept coming.  So he woke less rested, too.  I can’t find my still place today.  I’ll find it, and a lot of it is simply lack of sleep.  It’s almost as if the big push with SKIN TRADE has ruined my natural sleeping patterns and I’m having trouble getting back into it. 

KMFDM is on the player.  I like them.  I especially like the song, "Mercy".  Jon’s found me more Iced Earth to try, and two new bands, new to me; Arch Enemy and Genitorturers.  My taste for harder music has continued, maybe when that stops I’ll be able to sleep better.
