My editor e-mailed us today, saying, batten down the hatches, the copy edits are coming our way tomorrow.  That’s right, SKIN TRADE is coming back to roost.  The deadline is upon us, so there’s not a lot of time in between any given stage of this book.  Sigh. 

On yesterdays Devil’s Panties cartoon, Jon and Daven got molested at the male strip club.  The line that Jennie has Jon say, is apparently from a friend of hers, and an incident at a Ren Fair, that had nothing to do with male strippers, but the line worked.  The event pictured is based on a story that Jon and I told her about our research into strip clubs for Narcissus in Chains.  Daven was not with us, because at that time we did not know him and his lovely wife, Wendi, or Jennie, or Happy Goth, or, well, you get the idea.  But, let’s just say that one of the strippers liked Jon a lot, a little too much.  He just didn’t seem to take the hint, and I was finally forced to defend my husband’s honor.  Mainly, by putting myself between said stripper, his hand, and my husband’s very upper thigh.  Eek!

Daven and Wendi have a wonderful bra store near their house, called Trousseau’s.  It specializes in the hard to fit, or the speciality occasions, like brides.  The lady at the store, told them, "You have more friends that are thin and busty than anyone we know.  Where do you find them?"  They looked modest, and did not answer.  I guess they attract the well-endowed the way they attract the over six feet tall crowd. Like attracts like, or something like that.  I bought some wonderful bras and undies as part of the reward for finishing SKIN TRADE.  Always nice to find a reward that works for both Jon and me.  The sex toy shop was nice, but not as nice as the bra shop.  I mean, we can find toys closer to home, but Trousseau’s is better than anything we have near us.  The weight loss has put me back in a very hard to fit size bra-wise, so it was very timely.

Also, I got on the forum and on My Space and answered questions today.  I told you that I would try and get on-line and answer your questions, well, I did it.  Enjoy.  I’m hoping to make this a regular thing, but I can’t promise.  Maybe I could answer questions once a week instead of blogging?  What do you think?

What am I listening to? Iced Earth: "Dark Saga";  KMFDM: "Symbols" ; Drowning Pool "all three albums".  I think that was it music-wise today.  What am I reading?  As of tomorrow; SKIN TRADE.
