Traveling
Interesting day. I didn’t sleep. Alarm went off at 4 A. M. and I was happy to finally get up. We had a business trip to go on, and a very early flight. We had been hit by a winter storm in the night, a little one, thank goodness, but there was sleet and ice on the roads. But we made our flight, and away we went. A big thank you goes out to the men who de-iced the plane. They looked red-faced and so cold, but thank you for doing such a good job and getting us safely in the air. I have to say, watching the guy in the suit walk around in his thin coat, no hat, and inspect the planes, made me appreciate all the work to keep us safe. Thanks to all you guys that are working the bad weather to help us get to our destinations.
I was fever free today, and felt much better, but still not completely well. This virus knocked me on my butt. Unfortunately, some business trips cannot be delayed. So, we’re off, and hopefully I will continue to improve. So far, so good.
